Sana bday os: my special bday

this is the story of selfless care, untold love, pain of separation……

just a little bit of background….

its few days more to go for sana’s bday…..aftr sana left the show almost 8 months have passd.. all have moved on..bt the friendship and the warmth is still the same.. mrunal, shital, ritu  has very well gelled down in the group…. Bt still every person does create a place in your heart that no one else can rule… there is indeed a special place sana has created in lives of all…take it from behzad to chotu,,,,even the girls have become friends to her..bt the most important place she has made was in shaleen’s heart…

they had been doing a lot of workshops in past..even before the shooting began..so time spent has created lot of memories for both of themm..though they do not say it they had always being the more special to eachother than the others..

no wonder hw much busy they are ..they took out time for eachother.. they chat, discuss, help in work, ..

part1

it was again a regular hectic shoot of arjun… they got a break for sme minutes.. so all were busy checking their phones, ipads for the messages from fans , friends and families…just few day before shaleen’ bday passed so he was looking at his bday snapps..just one snap took all his attention,,,yes it was his and sana’s snap/.

shaleen: my dimpled girl.. my baby...

his mind and heart wandered on the day of his bday. hw tough that day was, it was almost gng to be evening and still he was shooting.. bday excitement was there bt work commitment was also important for him.. finally he has gvn his last shot… thn pack up..

shaleen: ok guys in 2hours reach at the party venue..i vl be waiting..

others: yes…

they were all the venue chating, old friends have also being there.. all were busy cherishing memories of past, hvng fun.. finally a girl called him..

hey shaaaaaaaaaaaa…(obviously sana calls him shaa)

shaleen: so miss beautiful smile is here finally… I thought u vl cme tom..

she hugged him tight..they have always felt a spark whn they meet.. even more aftr she left..

sana: happy birthday  shaaaaa..

they became a little teary..coz they met aftr long time.. work had kept them too packed to meet..she was outdoors and he was busy shooting..

shaleen: thank u baby(he always call her that once they became friends)and thanks for the tweet,, I really felt special..

shaleen: awesome, beautiful just out of this world as always…chalo sab se milo cme..

sana: thodi aur tarif karo... phir.. i m special na..

shaleen: just kidding.. all in all and awesome.. bt pata agar tum apne pajamas aur tee mein bhi ate na toh bhi u would be the most beautiful girll...

sana: ha i feel so good... finally mr delhi ne meri tarif ki..

shaleen: hey roz karta hoon.. come on yaaar..meri sare lines khatam ho gai ab chale andar..

sana: chalo badme dekhlungi tumhe.. kahan bhage ja rahe ho.

shaleen: tumse baagne ki himmat na baba na mujhe thode bday's celebrate karne hai..

finally they went inside...

they again got busy he with receiving guests and she ws busy chating wid arjun team nd other friends..though they stole frequent glances…

the party continued the cake cutting, he remembered hw every1 was looking at them whn he asked her to stand beside him while he cut the cake.. and next when she fed him the first piece..

lots of memories making for life..and the day was over…..a smile crept on his face..

he came out of his flashback whn sid shaked him…

sid: where were u lost?

Shaleen: kahin nahi..

Sid: bday pics dekh raha hai… my god teri and sana ki pic fans have reacted so crazyly..

Bez: hoo it shows hw much they miss ariya … and hw they want riya to be back….fans love the most precious one…waise sana bday aa raha hai  plans kya hai? Kuch surprise dete hai usee.

Sid: ha bilkul… she gave me a wonderful one on my bday…the best cake ever..

(I here by assume that all others i.e. bez, sid , ketan(chotu), even gorky sir ((director ke akheen waise hi tez hoti hai)) feels that shana have feelings for eachother beyond just good friends..and nw even sheetal and ritu knws abt it…and sana’s friend priyal gor too feels that sana do have feelings for him)(hamare asssumption pe hi toh duniya kam hai)

Shaleen: she is a special one uske toh kuch bohot khaas karna chahiye..sochta hoon kuch.. uski favs.. teddy bears, chocolates, flowers(orchids) ,perfumes, lip bams,,..

Tabhi gorky sir.. shaleen.. shot ke liye ready…

Shaleen: yes sir..

All again get busy in the shoots…they regularly discuss abt the surprise party bt end with no plans…

Part2

Nw it was just 1 more day remaining before sana's bday..bt that also went up in work.. nw just 3hours. Remaining..

Shaleen's pack up was dne bt he was still in his vanity thinking of smething'or should I say sme1'

Shaleen: this is the same vanity jahan we did so much fun..

All those joyful memories were falling in front of his eyes'.he took out his lapi and started seeing the old episodes of arjun the one he did with sana'and then the episode whn riya died'.its was sana last day of shoot'he remembered very well''

FLASHBACK:

All wished her luck and asked her to take care of her health'.she met each and every person of crew nw her cast cum friends were waiting in the green room to bid her goodbye..

Even on that day all were watching shana scenes together' and discussing abt the off 'screen moments'

Sana: the most wonderful days of my life... I will miss them so much'

Shaleen: ab roegi dekhna.. my water tank..

Sana: shut up.. mein nahi roungi..

Sid: pakka nahi roegi na..??

(n slowly the time came when Sana had to finally leave'she collected her belongings, her gifts from fans'. Hugged everyone n gave a side-hug to Shaleenn realized a drop of tear on her hand

 which rolled off from Shaleen's eye'.).. bt she made him hold her stuff..

(others also walking behind them_)

sana: hold my stuff... otherwise i vl be tired and follow me..

shaleen: ha madam aur kuch juice lao apke ya coffee.. ya.

Sana: bas bas aajke liye itna hi kafi hai...(reaching to her car, she turns around and hold his face in her hands, looking into his eyes)shaa U r ok naa.

Shaleen(smiling): Ya m fine'.bt u take care.. and call me if u need help...

(n finally she went to Sidi ' n whispered in his years')

Sana: Shaaa ko kehna ki mera toh pata nahi'but vo zaroor roya hai'.aur agar mai thodi der aur ruki toh shayad mai bhi'.

Everyone in chorus: we miss u sana//

Sana: I vl miss u too guys.. mein sirf show se ja rahi hoon duniyese.. so mera phone aur mera ghar dono ki paas mein hai mujhse\

 milne ana hi padega aur call bhi karna padega..

Ketan: dhamki wooh bhi openly..

Sana: ha de rahi kya kar lega..

Sid: kuch nahi tujhse milne ayenge bas..warna yahan koi hai jo tere bhi pehle hame mar dega

Everyone was missing their best buddy their chirpy and dimpled smile sana..

Bt shaleen he was missing his first co-star, friend, companion in every prank, the only person he could share anything with, and his'''..(first love may be)'he has always felt different with her.. he has a lot of female friends.. bt this feeling only came with her...

Bt Life always moves on'.and everyone has flow with it...

Aftr few days.. it was lunch time,

Sid: yaar sana ke khane ki badi yaad aa rahi hai mujhe'

ketan: ha panner ki sabzi wooh birayni hay pane aa raha hai

Shee: call karte usee ' shaleen call her nw..

Shaleen called her ..put the phone on speaker..

Sana: mujhe kuch nahi sunna hai ki mein busy tha, time nahi ,

 falana dimka'hw dare u didn't call me shaa.. haa ab kyon karega

 nai partner jo milne wali hai tujhe..sana ko miss nahi karte kam se

 kam riya ko toh karo..ha wooh bhi kyon karoge.. arjun ko kya fark

 padta.. bas 2 min dhuki face se khada raha bahar..

Shaleen: baby saans toh le lo..

Sana took a deep breadth.

shaleen: round 2 ab aur suna, kya keh rahi thi ..

Sana: le li ab bolo kyon phone kiya?

Shaleen: bas tujhe miss kar raha tha..

Sana:Kaise ho tum??? Aur baki sabb kaise hain abhi shoot chal

 raha hai ya lunch break hai???aur kuch zyada dangeorus stunts 

pull nahi kar raha na.. tujhe fikar hai nahi apni par kuch garib

 logon ka khayal kar jo teri chinta mein mare rehte kal hi aunty ne

 phone kiya ki teri tabiyat kharab hai ... hum toh mar hi gai hai na

 bata nahi sakta

Shaleen:ok time out...Mai theek hoon aur baki sabb bhi achche

 hain ,tujhe bohot mss krr rhe hain'!!!aur maa ka kya hai mujhe sirf sardi hue thi,

sana: aur?

shaleen: thodi khassi bhi.

sana: aur ?

shaleen: bhukar bhi par thoda sa.. aur thoda sar dard bhi..kuch bolo bhi

sana: kya bolu wooh my brave man i m proud of u.. yahi naa ....

shaleen: thik hai sorry ab agee chik aai na to bhi

 bataunga...actually ek suprise hai par Bass kuch kami hai'

Sana: Kya' 

Everyone: Tu'.Sana!!!

Sana(xcited): Wao!!! Tum sabb'kaise ho sabb???

Sid: waise jaise tu hame rota hua chodke chali gai..shaleen ki fikar  aur hume toh poocha bhi nahi.. mujhe bhi pimple hua tha..

Sana: yeh shikayat kar kaun raha hai sid ya shree... tujhe toh superman hai yar

Bez: shikayat koi bhi kare but we miss u yaar.

Sana: I miss u guys too,.

Gorky called so phone disconnected'.

Part3

Present:

Shaleen sitting in his green room.. seeing messages on if , fb,twitter…

Msg: Shaleen u'r my favourite….We love ariya ….n hum sirf apko aur Sana ko hi on-screen pair dekhna chahte hain…!!!aur off-screen it would be a treat to us..

Msg:we are big fan of urs.. please sana ko wapas ke lao show ab hamare pyare arjun ka kya hoga…(no sakshi till nw )

He reads number of msgs.. all had one thing in common they miss ariya..

Shaleen: itne msgs aur sabme ek hi baat.. sabke dil ki baat toh mujh tak pooch gai par apne dil ki baat kaise kahon? Sabne toh keh diya ki they miss her? par mein kise bataun hw much I miss her?

 (Meanwhile bez and sid enters……)

bez: Batane ki zarurat nahi hai…

Shaleen: Matlabb…!!!

Sid : Tujhse pehle hi teri dil ki baat jaan gaye the…tujhe kya laga jab Sana jaa rahi thi teri aankhen kisi ne nahi dekhi….but sorry my friend maine , bez ne aur Sana teeno ne dekh liya…!!!

Tu kya sabko prank-master aur joker bann ke hasayega…toh kisiko kuch pata nahi chalega…bhool matt teri apni bhi feelings hai…!!!

Please ab dair mat  kar.. dnt play with your feelings and her’s too…

Shaleen: "Uski"!!! toh kya vo bhi…she feels the same for me.???

bez: Haan….shaa haan…!!!

Sid: tabhi to tujh par haq se naraz hoti hai..tujhe par apna right aise jatati thi kya abhi bhi toh hai jaise she owns u….wooh  teri bday pe bhi tujhse kehna chahti thi par she was confused abt your feelings..so kuch nahi bataya usne..

Shaleen: tum log mujhe pehle nahi bata sakte the?

Bez: aree galti teri aur daant hame raha hai..?  rawte ke character se bahar aa jaa..

Shaleen (xcited)Toh ab mai kya karoon…???

sid: use jake rakhi bandwale  tera dimaag kam karna band hogaya hai kya…!!!

He gives him his arjun wala glare…

bez: haan toh bhaag abhi thodi dair mein uska bday hai isse best gift kya hoga uske liye…goo run

Shaleen: …I LOVE YOU GUYS>.

Bez: wahan jake yahi bolna thodi aur feeling and intensity ke saath.. bakri ki tarah me me mat karna..

Sid: aur haan 2 bage wapas ana mat bhulna shoot hai remember..

Sana’s house:

She was chatting with her friend priyal…he thought she would have started to party bt her house seemed calm..the only topic both the friends had was the great shaleen malhotra

Priyal: sanu u feel for him so confess toh kar..

Sana: confess karke kya karo? Wat if he doesn’t? I will even lose a friend.. nahi I wnt..

Priyal: agar usne kiya toh..? wat if he loves u and confess it to u?

Sana: agar aisa hua na toh wooh meri life ka sabse best din hoga…meine  bohot sare sapne dekhe aaj tak par yeh sapna agar yeh sach ho gaya toh mujhe aur koi sapna dekhne ke zarorat hi nahi padega,.

Priyal: see I knw wooh tere liye kya matter karta hai.. dekha hai meine tujhe usee bina bataye uski care karte hue, uski choti choti wishes ko pura karte hue.,, yahan tak ki tu sana khan  jisne kabhi apne liye ek magi tak khudse nahi banai, uske liye uski fav dishes banana bhi shikh liya uske mom se taki u can gve him taste of his home food..oh please,, don’t let this things go like this…use bata toh sahi ke u feel for him so much…

Sana: please priyal meine job hi kiya wooh sab..see I knw who ek bohot hi focused person wat if wooh apne career ke beginning stage pe relationship ki complications na chahta hoo.. wat if wooh koi commitment na chahta hoo… nahi I dnt want to him to feel guilty abt anything…please priyal yeh topic band karde.. I just dnt to talk abt it..

Even whn sana was playing riya and aftr that too.. whenever they met.. all she would say abt was shaleen this he is that.. my best co-actor,, he did this, he helped with tht..he scare with that prank..he pulled out a stunt..

Priyal used to call her….”shaleen obsessed”

There was knock on the door … meanwhile sid had msgd priyal abt the recent happening so that she gvs them space..(priyal n sid also in contact due to sana)

Priyal: sanu I remember I have to call a friend u get the door..

Sana: whos there at this point of time..?

She opened the door.. and her mouth opened in an “o” shape..

I knw u all expected a grand surprise party or gift smething special.. bt materialistic things give pleasure for few times.. bt today she will be getting a gift of life time..love is gift one cherishes for ever.. hope u agree to me…

Part4

Sana: shaa tum iss waqt..?

Shaleen: haaa bas tumhare yaad aa gai.. andar toh ane do..

Sana: cme ..all good na shaa I mean tum iss waqt. R u ok?

Priyal:hey shaleen.. hw r u?

Shaleen: good so girls ka night out ka plan tha?

Priyal: nahi I have to leave in hlf n hour a friend needs me..

Sana: oh okk bt tab tak toh baith,..

Priyal: so hws arjun?

Shaleen: haan good par nt excellent riya jo nahi hai aab…

Priyal: I loved ur chemistry mein toh abhi bhi sanu se kehti ur chemistry was too hot.. hame toh dekhar hi..

Sana: kuch aur baat karte hai guys.. set pe sab kaise hai all good?

Shaleen: all good bt Miss u a lot..

Priyal faked seeing a video sent by a friend.. it was riya’s death scene..tears startd to flow down her eyes..

Sana and shaleen: kya dekh rahi hai..??

Priyal: a friend send me ur last scene… she is big fan of urs so ..its so adorable bt yet sad..

Shana again felt the pain thy felt that day…

The last dialogue: they both said it together..

“PYAAR KA DARD WAHIN SAMAJ SAKTA HAI JISKA PYAAR ADHOORA REH GAYA HOO”

They were staring at each other…

Shaleen immediately said: I love u…

Sana: ho yahin honi chahiye thi riya ki last line…perfect match to arjun’s dialogue..

Priyal faked getting a call and got up wnt to the balcony …

They  were  in tears ..

Sana: tum chai piyoge..

Shaleen: baby I said I love u..

Sana(Stunned): matlab???

Shaleen(rubbing his tears and hers too) : matlab I love u baby.. I love u very very much..more than anything.. just so much …

Sana: tu mere saath prank khel raha hai.. its my bday in few minutes and u r playing a prank on me that too like this..

Shaleen: prank nahi dil ki baat.. I m idiot, gadha, fool joh apne hi dil ki baat nahi samaj paya.. bohot wait karvaya na tumhe..?

She was getting it that he was truly admitting his love.. it was not a prank.. her biggest dream is becoming true…

(Sana starts to cry again, he hugs her… both hug each other tightly, for the longest moment they could…as if to live their whole life in that one moment…)

Shaleen: Iss hug mein  koi "action" aur "cut" nahi hai..aur nahi ab kabhi bhi hoga…(breaking off the hug)Vaise I m very upset tu toh mujhe achcha dost kehti thi…toh phir dost se chupaane ki kya zarurat thi…waise toh badi daring banti phir ,apne dil ki  har baat mujhse haqq se kehti thi naa

Sana: (blushes)(weeping)Kaise kehti …??? Mujhe pata nahi tha ki tere mann mein aisa kuch hey bhi ya nahi ..ha har baat haq se kehti thi par apne dost ko ,  itni badi baat batane ke baad…mai apne dost ko loose karna afford nahi krr sakti thi….

Shaleen: (very innocently) Aur pyaar ko loose krna afford krr sakti thi???

Sana: Jo rishta kabhi bana hi nahi tha uske liye ye valuable friendship ko kaise sacrifice karti…u knw hw much ur friend ship ur support means to me..i feels home to have u close..

Shaleen: tune show bhi esi wajah se choda?? .. kyonki tumhe pehle se hi  pata tha ki action stunts honge toh tumhare asthma pe asar padega bt phir bhi u signed the show…means just for me u left the show.. tumne apne baarein mein, apne career ke baarein mein kuch bhi nahi socha..,aur humare ariya fans pata hai kitne dhook bhare msg bhejte hai..

Sana: I knw I knw everything..and I feel ki galati thi meri quit karna … par seriously meri health problems bhi ek bada reason thi.. mein tough banana chahti par  I couldn’t make it. and kehte hai

“chahe hum kitne bhi dur ho jay par phir bhi feelings aur emotions.. kabhi nahi khatam hoti..”

aur mujhe kya daant rahe ho mr samjhe ya samjhaun.. tum itna nahi samaj paye

Shaleen: haa nahi samaj paya.. really idiot hoon agar bez and sid encourage nahi kiya hota toh shayad aaj bhi na keh pata. Par tum mujhe meri bday ke din kehne wali thi naa phir kyon nahi kaha..???

Sana: yeh sid ke pait mein koi baat nahi tikti ….nahi keh payee aur phir agar tum na kehte toh tumhara special din spoil ho jata..joh mein kabhi nahi chahti thi..

Shaleen: hoo vaise madam maine toh dass baar bol diya but apke mooh se ek baar bhi vo three magical words nahi sune..!!!

Sana: (blushes hard, take a deep breath ) I- I Love You Mr. Shaleen Malhotra..…..!!!

Shaleen: I Love You too…. Would be MRS Shaleen Malhotra !!!(kash kabhi yeh sach hojay.. waise malhotra surname soot sana’s name wat say?)

Sana: itni jaldi?

Shaleen: kyon koi doubt hai?

Sana: nahi par agar tum hamesha mere shaa banke rahoge toh..hi..

Shaleen(pretends thinking): okkk.. ur shaa for ever.. deal..??

Sana: pakki wali dealll..deal for life time..

Nw sana’s makeover …….. u knw relationship ki beginning..ka sweet ka change..

Sana: apka shoot nahi hai ab???

Shaleen: hai na…Wait…wait… Kya kaha tune??? "apka"… (coughs intentionally)

Sana: (blushes)Kuch nahi…?

Shaleen(in arjun’s tone): mujhe sab pata lag jata hai kyonki logg hamesha barikiyon mein ulajje rehte hai mein hamesha muddpe dhyaan deta hoon…

Sana: achcha toh yeh advice riya ko uske arjun sir ki taraf se thi ya sana ko uske shaaa ki tarafse..

Shaleen: meri ex-co-actor se meri life partner bani sana ke liye..

(they were engage in their talks.. when priyal, bez, sid,ketan and shee entered with ballons, cakes and flowers)

It was 12 am…and sana’ bday…(pyar mein time ka pata hi nahi chalta.)

All: happy birthday sana

Sana: oh its 12 its my bday..

Shaleen: tum log 5 minute baad nahi aa sakte the I wanted to wish her first..

Sid:(ehsaan faramosh):  agar hum tujhe yahan bhejte hi nahi toh  tu sana ko sirf phone wish karta wooh bhi tera number kab ata pata nahi ya phir sidha  kal hi wish krta ..

Priyal:chalo sanu ab cake toh katte hain…shaleen sana ka first bday hai relationship mein so hold her hand…

Sid: mein pics click karta hoon.

Shaleen: par abhi toh time hai na..

Bez: sorry yaar par location kaffi dur hai jana padega..sana yahi rehti hai badme ake mil lena..

Shaleen look: I vl kill u guys..

Sana looked a little upset.. bt he had to go…

Shaleen: thik tum log jao mein ata hoon..

Bez: saath chalte hai na..

Shaleen: tu yahan se mar kha jayega..ya

Sid: chal chal bez yeh sach mein mar dega..ab toh sana ka asar isspe zyada hota hai…chal jaldi

They all went …so finally shana have few minutes to be alone..

Sana: tumhe jana hi padega par kal vl celebrate..

Shaleen: pakka and I vl try to take an half day if possible..and vl have a rocking party just like mine infact more than that…so kya tum wapas aoge as riya..??

Sana: ana chahon bhi toh .. story has moved too far and tumhari opposite lead bhi toh search ho rahi hai.and I hear mrunal thakur is selected . I guess chances nahi hai.. bt tumhare liye warning hai..  uss nayi lead se zyada matt chipakna…aur…ussee zyada importance bhi dene ki zarorat nahi hai.. aur help thodi bohot hi karna…waise nahi jaise mujhe har scene mein karte the.. waise  I have my watch dogs over u..

 Remember I m gng to be a more tough girlfriend to handle …

Shaleen: I knw that bt … kitchen mein gas pe kuch rakha hai?

Sana: kyon?

Shaleen: jalne ki boo arahi hai..

Sana: hoooooooo u .. u were so gng to be dead.. bt I dnt beat my boyfriend so saved..

Shaleen: just want to say one thing I love u and only u..samjhe ya samjhaun…

Sana: ab samaj gai.. kya hai mujhe yeh language jaldi samaj ati hai…

Both had a tight hug…bt he broke the hug and slowly bend down to capture her lips(special way to wish bday).. both enjoyed their first kiss their way to express urs forever….. they parted…she gave her dimpled smile..

In the background…. Sid and bez: shaleen late ho raha hai bday kal bhi celebrate kar satke hai…

Shaleen: kabab mein haddiisss… jana padega.. happy birthday to u again baby

Sana: love u bye…

Aftr he went …beating bez and sid for their interruptions…. she jumped in the air…

Yes yes he loves me loves me my best birthday ever … the best one…

Epilogue……

That day or say it the night..was the best in their lives…

She slept thinking and remembering his beautiful confession..she could not sleep as she was frequently messages and phone calls for wishes..

Then finally at 2 she could sleep..

He was driving back… so relieved and happy that he confessed his feelings..that he got someone who will always there with him.. no matter wat,,,he got the best supporter, best friend, best co-actor.. he got his life in her.. his reason to smile…he reason to survive..

All reach the set and got back to work….he had to work till morning 10 in the morning… he requested gorky sir to give him a break aftr that…to which sir agreed..he smirked as he also got there is something fishy …he saw a different smile on his face..and a different senerity and happiness..

All got back to work..

Next morning…..sana got up around 10 …(shaa ke dreams khatam ho toh neend khule na)

Doorbell rang…

Sana: yes..

Delivery boy: flowers for u ma’m…

gm love... hope u had a nice sleep...get fresh with these flowers..love ur shaaa

Aftr an hour… again the doorbell rang…

Sana: yes..

Delivery boy: gift for u ma’m….

She opened the gift and saw a big teddy… with their pic in its heart..

another bell rang…

sana: oh god yeh shaa ne kitni gifts bheji hai..

Perfume: it was a perfume this time…

 fav fragrance from ur love…. That makes me feel ur presence all around..

she just smelled it and suddenly again the bell rang..nw she opened.. it..again a gift ...opened it and saw it was a coffee mug.. with their pics.

Box of chocolates:

Sana: oh my shaa itni saarin gifts…he is really crazy…

The party got over,… and still a wonderful surprise was waitng for her…

He opened the car door for her…and led her to the place where thy were supposed to reaching…he tied a silk cloth on her eyes..and took her to the place..

Sana: shaa please kholo na patti…

Shaleen: I vl just 2 minutes…

He lifted her in his arms and started walking..

Sana: thank u my legs were hurting so much…

Thy reached the place and he opened her eyes…

Her mouth was opened in shock and tears flowing down…
